Verification & responsible use
Everything else today was about making things. This session is about the habit that makes you a certified educator: a repeatable review process. The rubric gives this module its own passing gate — you cannot be certified without it.
The VERIFY routine — run it on every resource
Open the evidence behind important statements.
Check definitions, dates, formulas, names and numbers.
Age, vocabulary, length and cognitive difficulty.
English, Telugu and subject-specific terms.
Edit, regenerate, change the prompt or improve the sources.
The teacher — not NotebookLM — decides whether the resource is ready.
🖐 Now you do it — review the flawed sample
Your trainer will give you a deliberately flawed worksheet. Discuss in your group, but complete your own review sheet. Find and write down:
- One factual concern
- One citation or evidence concern
- One age-appropriateness concern
- One language concern (English or Telugu)
- One classroom-use concern
- One privacy concern
- Your proposed correction for each
Responsible use — what never goes into a notebook
- Student names or photographs
- Marksheets with identifiable information
- Medical or behavioural records
- Parent complaints or private messages
- Confidential examination papers
- Internal disciplinary material
- Passwords or account details
"Even where a service provides privacy protections, the safest educational practice is to minimise the data uploaded. If student identity is not required for the task, do not include it."
